When mobile phones made an entry into the Indian market, they were looked
upon as a luxury item. As time passed and connectivity became easier, they
became a necessity. But for Vishnu Wadhwani, MD, D-Gold Infotech, cell phones
are objects of passion.

He is among the people who change their handset every single day and buys the
latest model as soon as it enters into the market. Right now, he has his eyes
set on the Apple iPhone.

Wadhwani is not fond of any particular brand of mobiles and has used almost
all of them available in the market, be it Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorola,
Samsung, O2, i-Mate, LG or Philips. However, he considers Nokia to be the most
reliable brand and gives it the first preference for his daily usage. Wadhani's
all time favorite mobile is Nokia N73 and he prefers his cell phones to be
either silver or black in color, as it adds elegance to the model.

“No matter which new model comes in the market, I always keep N73 with me.
Recently I had given it for servicing and I found myself missing it sorely,”
expressed Wadhwani.

Talking about his strong passion for this tiny gadget, Wadhwani said that he
could not imagine a single day without it. “I like its features such as camera
and MP3 player and wish that manufacturers add more features like GPS and
facility of two SIM cards insertion in one mobile,” said Wadhwani.

Wadhwani even keeps different mobile phones for different occasions and
selects the design and style as per the event. But whenever he goes for any
special event with a new model, he always ensures that he gets accustomed to the
features and functioning of the phone well in advance so that he handles it with
complete ease.
