Creative launches MUVO Slim digital audio player

Creative Technology Ltd has announced the launch of its new portable audio player MuVo Slim, which is 7mm thick. Two versions of the Creative MuVo Slim are available; the MuVo Slim with 256MB built in memory is priced at Rs 12,750 and the model with a 128MB built in memory is priced at Rs 9,150. Both players with built in FM radio and recorder are available for immediate shipment through Creative's extensive distribution network.

The MuVo Slim includes an elegant black folding case that protects the player. Initially available in sophisticated-looking silver and black, the MuVo Slim will be offered in a variety of colors to match different style and fashion tastes by summer of this year.

Featuring a built-in microphone, the MuVo Slim 256MB can capture up to 16 hours of important dictations, conversations and reminders. The player's removable battery is rechargeable via the player's USB connection, to provide up to 17 hours of continuous playtime. The MuVo Slim carries up to eight hours of WMA files at 64kbps or up to four hours of MP3 music with its 256MB of memory. 

Together with built-in support for Windows Media Player 9 Series and WMA, the Creative MuVo Slim offers maximum compatibility with a wide range of popular music services, including Best Buy MusicNow, Buy Music, Musicmatch and Napster. The player can be customized as a corporate gift with capacities of up to 1GB. High-quality neodymium earphones are included with it and although the player does not require software to transfer files, the player includes Creative
MediaSource music management software.
