Creative Technology introduces webcam

Creative Technology launched a range of webcams to meet the growing demand
for instant messaging, videoconferencing and other Internet applications
requiring high-quality video. The Webcam Live's refined CMOS sensor, with
native resolution of 640x480, gives video ideal for instant messaging.

Software interpolation allows still images to be stored at up to 1024x768.
There's a separate microphone to ensure good audio capture and this solution
can be positioned on standard monitors or flat panel displays.

The
webcam connects to a PC quickly and easily via USB and comes with a large bundle
of software for messaging and image processing. It has an estimated street price
of Rs 3,799 and is available through Creative's retail outlets.
