Crystal will sell these products through its nationwide channel network of 1200 partners. "Of this, we have 200 dedicated
dealers who will help us to aggressively position this brand in the market," says Devang Shah,
Proprietor, Crystal Impex.

The disty has already rolled out channel incentive schemes, where partners who sell media worth Rs 60000 to Rs 1 lakh can win gold coins or trips to
Switzerland.

Crystal will use pricing to its advantage in a bid to create a niche for TDK in the market. While the price for Sony's and
Samsung's 10 CDs box is Rs 250 and Rs 270, Imation is available for Rs 250, TDK CDs are available for Rs
180. Similarly a Samsung DVD retails for Rs 250, while Crystal will sell TDK for Rs 150.

"Given TDK's superior Japanese technology, and down to earth pricing, I am sure we will be able to capture good
marketshare this year," states Devang. TDK's exclusive dye recording technology ensures full compatibility with all
DVD-R recorders and players. Its write-once DVD is specially formulated for users with PC DVD writers and DVD Video Disc
recorders and is capable of six hours of high-resolution digital video recording (4.7 Gbytes). It is
compatible with all DVD-ROM drives and DVD-video players.
