Cyberstar Infocom has announced the availability of Adaptec's market leading
range of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and Serial Attached ATA (SATA) products in
India. Optimized for capacity, SATA is suited for disk-to-disk backup and
nearline storage of fixed reference data that must be accessible.
Adaptec's range of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) builds on the SCSI protocol to
provide performance, reliability, flexibility, and massive scalability. With
SATA and SAS drives now interconnected through unified serial controllers,
enterprise users can create tiered storage solutions on a single architecture.
Adaptec range of SAS and SATA products are available at entry level.
According to Raj Rathi, the founder and CEO of Cyberstar Infocom,
"Adaptec's latest range of SAS and SATA products will be available in India
just when consumers are adopting SATA, on a wider scale, into their enterprise
IT infrastructures".
As a part of its market outreach program, Cyberstar will conduct dealer and
end customer training programs on advantages of implementing SATA and SAS into
their unified storage architectures. Special pricing schemes and dealer
promotions have also been drawn as a part of this aggressive program.
The entire product line is available immediately through Cyberstar and its
authorized reseller partners across 26 locations in India.
