Cyient acquires Invati Insights

IT firm Cyient, formerly known as Infotech Enterprises has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Invati Insights, a data sciences start-up.

Invati is an 18-month-old start-up with two offices in Hyderabad and Troy in the US. It provides different analytics driven solutions to clients in manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, healthcare, logistics and financial services industries.

The new entity is proposed to be renamed Cyient Insights to better reflect brand and market aspirations. Invati will strengthen Cyient's data analytics capabilities and offerings across a set of chosen industry verticals that continue to demonstrate strong appetite and spend.
