D-Link appoints Rasan Infocom to market IP cameras

D-Link appoints Rasan Infocom to market its entire range of IP Surveillance
cameras across the country. The tie-up is aimed at providing integrated security
solutions and this is the first time, when IT industry is joining hands with
security and surveillance industry.

Tushar Sighat, Vice President - Channel Business, (India and Saarc), D-Link
India said, "Rasan Infocom is a major player in security and surveillance
market in India and this alliance will help D-Link to leverage on Rasan's
expertise in providing integrated security solutions to customers. This
partnership will give D-Link a strong hold in the security and Surveillance
Industry. It's a win-win situation for both sides."

Rajesh Solanki, Director, Rasan Infocom said, "We are excited about this
relationship. D-Link brand is synonymous for IP Surveillance camera in India. We
hope to provide D-Link the necessary support it requires to penetrate the
market. This partnership will enhance Rasan portfolio of quality products."

D-Link and Rasan will be launching a nation-wide joint training and
certification program for certifying network video systems specialists. Further,
under the tie-up, Rasan will be developing unique Video Management Software,
supported on D-Link hardware. This will enable both companies to provide
unmatched scalability and video management tools to its customers.

IP Surveillance systems are no longer out of reach. With D-Link IP Cameras
available in a wide range from Rs 7,000 to Rs 50,000 you can now set up your own
surveillance system for any application where one wishes to monitor a remote
location over the LAN or Internet.

D-Link has recently introduced two advanced cameras in the SecuriCam range of
IP based Video Surveillance. The DCS-6620 and DCS-6620G (Wireless) with 10X
Optical Zoom. These IP Cameras with rich features and functionalities, breaks
the Optical Zoom barrier by offering such a high level of optical zoom. It also
features dual Codec support, a 10X optical zoom lens, built-in microphone and
low-light sensitivity for night time surveillance. D-Link's IP based SecuriCams
