D-Link signs Ingram as national distributor

MUMBAI: D-Link India, an end-to-end computer networking solutions provider for consumer and business, announced its new and enhanced distribution strategy for India and SAARC. The objective of the new distribution policy is to enhance its reach to the newer markets and territories.

Under the new structure D-Link retains its unique regional distribution (RD) model and has further added Ingram Micro as a national distributor. Announcing the same, Rajesh Sahore, VP-Channels D-Link India said, “D-Link India enjoys strong support from its RDs partners who have helped it achieve its leadership position in the Indian networking industry. The existing RDs will continue to enjoy all benefits as earlier in addition they will have an option of buying from Ingram Micro or D-Link directly”.

The company said that this enhanced structure will help it cater to its customers more effectively and will also help partners to fulfill the huge demand for its products by reducing the lead time and ensuring effective stock availability of D-Link products.

The new set-up is implemented with immediate effect. A company statement said that D-Link continues to work closely with partners with the host of incentive program and periodic training and certification program to further strengthen its end to end solutions offering to its customers.
