New Delhi: Carrying forward the message of building innovative technology, 'bits2009' was also held at Sri-Lanka on November 11-12. Through this initiative D-Link India continued with its mission of underlining the importance of 'Innovative solution' like green computing, to all large, medium and small size networking chores. The focus of seminar was on government, education and corporate sector.
The event was divided into two days, with November 11 being completely meant for channel partners and November 12 for end-customers. Around 180 channel partners participated on Day 1 and over 140 end-customers on Day 2, claimed D-Link India.
Talking about its green initiative, Jayesh Kotak, VP-Product Management, D-Link (India) said, “D-Link as an organization has always been committed towards providing environment friendly networking product/solutions. We have been the pioneer in green networking. Our green devices provide eco-friendly alternatives without compromising on performance. They are designed to help conserve energy, protect our environment from harmful substances and reduce waste by using recyclable packaging.”
Also present at the event Venkatesh Kamath, VP-Operation, South at D-Link (India) said, “It has always been our mission to make world-class technology affordable for the mass consumers. D-Link has a wide range of products/solutions that caters to different verticals and is of the very few companies to offer end-to-end networking solution. Worldwide D-Link is known for its quality products/ solutions. And this coupled with the fact that Sri-Lanka is one of the emerging markets which holds huge potential, we look forward to great demand for our product range.”
At 'bits2009' events at Sri-Lanka, D-Link showcased its complete series products/ solution that included network switching, wireless LAN, routing, network security, IP surveillance, network storage, VOIP and broadband. Debug Computer Peripheral, D-Link's distributor in Sri-Lanka, was also present at the event.
