Dax Networks, in collaboration with Telco Systems, USA, has launched T6 Pro Classic routing switch DX BTI-0630. It is a high-end Carrier-class metro routing switch.
Dax will address large networking projects across telecom companies, large enterprises, defense, research institutions, BFSI and the e-governance sector. The company will work closely with national systems integrators to address these industries.
Commenting on the launch of the T6 Pro, Sujit Singh, Country Manager, Dax Networks, said, "We are expanding our switch and router portfolio for the core to address the needs of most mission critical customers. The T6 Pro comes with multi-layering, multi-service facilities, which provide security. Optimized for core and large-scale distribution, T6 Pro caters to the requirements of large enterprises where high port density is crucial. The T6 Pro also comes with a programmable powerful network processor with maximum flexibility to suit the customer needs.
It supports reliability levels consistent with mission critical services. The Redundant CPU and the Matrix Cards in this routing switch come with unique hot-swap support, hot-swappable fan drawers, and an advanced dual power supply to each slot, thus enabling continuous operations.
This routing switch offers unique convergence of any-protocol on any-card in any-slot of any-Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture
(TCA) platform. This will enable converging IP with various other technologies such as wireless, storage, server blades, gateways and many more service types within a single platform.
The company, which currently holds 4% of the router market, within 12 months of the launch, intends to increase its market share to 10% over the next two years. The switch is priced at Rs 11,66,609.
