Dell’s new PowerVault 770N and 725N network-attached storage (NAS) systems

offer the performance, high availability and expansion features to manage data

between applications running Microsoft Windows, Novell NetWare, UNIX, Linux and

Apple Macintosh operating environments.

Leveraging

Intel Xeon processors and Windows-powered operating systems, the PowerVault 770N

can accommodate over 8 TB with the addition of SCSI drives or more than 20 TB by

connecting to Dell/EMC storage either as a direct-attached array or through a

storage area network (SAN).

The PowerVault 725N is the only NAS system in its class to use Intel Pentium

loch 4 processors and ServerWorks technology to offer performance and

scalability required for growing businesses. This centralized network storage

system installs in minutes and can be "plugged in" virtually anywhere

in the network, with support for up to 3 GB of DDR SDRAM and dual-gigabit ports

for load-balancing and failover capabilities.
