Discreet adds Lustre to its software range

Discreet has launched its color grading software - Lustre. It is targeted at cinematographers, who want to enhance color gradations for films. The Lustre product family includes Master Station, Assistant Station and Background Render Farm. 

This system’s software design delivers 2K color correction and grading capabilities while providing high-resolution imagery and digital intermediates. It has full monitor and projector calibration capabilities, and animatable parameters.

The software has a high-quality 16-bit/component image processing, plug-in architecture and an advanced proxy system.

Master Stations and Assistant Stations can be networked together to provide a more flexible collaborative workflow.

The entire software suite is available for $5,00,000.
