DISTREE APAC 2014 has extended its regional coverage to include leading volume distributors, retailers and e-tailers of technology and consumer electronics (CE) products from more than 25 countries across the region. DISTREE APAC 2014 takes place from the 8-10th October 2014 at the Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Resort in Singapore.

Ashish Kapahi, event director for DISTREE Asia Pacific, said, "DISTREE APAC will host 75 of the leading in-country and regional distributors from across the region and 100 key e-tailers and retailers from 25-plus countries. DISTREE APAC only invites senior channel executives so meetings and discussions are productive and meaningful."

The three-day channel event gives vendors and brand owners a unique opportunity to outline their consumer channel strategy, showcase their latest products and pre-schedule a packed agenda of one-on-one meetings with channel executives.

In addition to channel partners from the Saarc region, South East Asia and Oceania, DISTREE APAC 2014 will also include leading distributors and retailers from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan for the first time in 2014.

"DISTREE APAC will unite the top channel buyers of technology and CE products from across this vast region in one place at one time. This presents a unique and powerful opportunity for all vendors looking to manage, build or launch routes-to-market. DISTREE APAC is where the real decision makers gather and is now a ‘must attend' event for brands looking to enhance their consumer reach and channel engagement in the region," added Kapahi.

HP and Microsoft are already confirmed as Platinum Sponsors at DISTREE APAC 2014 and will deliver keynote speeches updating consumer channel executives on their regional go-to-market strategy. Event partner GfK will also run workshops and deliver a series of speeches outlining major trends in APAC and sharing the latest market statistics.

"DISTREE APAC will also give retailers and distributors access to a comprehensive conference programme providing insight on topics such as Wearables, Connected Homes and the Internet of Things (IoT)," added Kapahi. "As these technologies and solutions enter the mainstream, it is important for vendors, distributors, retailers and e-tailers to work together to generate demand and build awareness across APAC."

DISTREE APAC 2014 will also host the ‘APAC Channel Academy: 2014 Awards' giving channel executives the chance to reward the leading regional brands across multiple product categories. Vendors will also have the opportunity to participate in the popular ‘60 Seconds to Convince' awards programme, delivering a one-minute product pitch to channel executives.
