Iris Global is a national level distributor headquartered in South Delhi. The company distributes IT products hardware, engages in software integration and does other kinds of system integration jobs.
In an interaction Sanjiv Krishen told DQ Channels that he had begun his business from a small two-room set up and gradually built a large distribution network across India. He provides capital to smaller partners and extends his network to help them negotiate deals with their end customers, among other activities.
Distribution of Corona-Related health products
Recently, Iris Global CMD Sanjiv Krishen has begun to resell Corona related health products seeing their rising demand because of the surge of Corona waves across the country. He resells face masks, sanitisers, oximeters, vapurisers and other medical equipment related to Corona.
Work with UNDP
In 2020, the company had announced that it was engaged in facilitating its partners in supplying a wide range of education tablets exported to Mauritius through EdCIL (a Govt of India Undertaking) and also for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for Cambodia.
Work during Lockdown
During the total lock down period of the National Capital Sanjiv Krishen obtained special approvals, opened their warehouses to deliver notebooks to Tech Mahindra for enabling their IT infrastructure.
Some Recent Work
Recently, Iris Global has received an order for the supply of Schneider Electric UPS unites from Salesforce Automation.
Sanjiv Krishen, Founder & Chairman, Iris Global said, "The supply of the segment leader products includes the best solution which can be provided for any mission critical applications. The most important part of the transaction is that the order was received from one of the Fortune 150 company.” Krishen added,, “These UPS units would be in the range of 500 to 800 KVA and cost about Rs 4 crores each. They shall be installed at 3 Datacentres at Hyderabad to handle their Data Traffic.”
Earlier in September 2021, Iris supplied to Suzlon a solution for MS SQL Database for their Data Center Servers based at Pune. Speaking to newsmen, Himanshu Chawla, CEO & Technology Evangelist at Iris Waves said “ the solutions shall help their servers to upgrade their Data Management efficiency giving them more vertical and horizontal scalability. Suzlon Data Centers were using the servers to capacity & Iris was able to identify & offer the much needed scalability using the MS products in their IT architecture. This will give them a huge performance boost. Iris shall run and maintain the infrastructure for Suzlon for the next few years.
