DLDPL to distribute PDA phones

New Delhi: India Digital Life Style Distributors Pvt. Ltd (IDLDPL) will
distribute Asus' PDA phones P535 and P525 in the Indian market by the end of
September 2007. In addition the company is also vying for a tie-up with a
leading IT company and the association will see them promote accessories and
other IT products. Talking about the same, Gundeep Malik, Marketing Manager,
IDLDPL said, "The stock of the above phones has already reached us and the
distribution process will commence by October."

IDLDPL became the authorized national distributor for Asus two months ago and
has been working on pushing these entry-level products. While P525 is an
entry-level phone and cost around Rs 22490, P535 is in a higher range and will
cost close to Rs 36,000. "The market is slowly moving towards smart phones
and PDA's and hence it was always better to enter the domain and capitalize on
the opportunities available," added Mallik. IDLDPL will be furthering these
products through all the retail chains that they currently have tie up with.

In addition the company is also gearing up to foray into the eastern region.
Informing about the same, Kanwaljit Singh Sachar, VP, Sales, IDLDPL said that
the company was looking forward to penetrate into Kolkata market from a long
time. "IDLDPL will have an office in Kolkata through which the company will
provide support facilities and billing facilities to customers," stated
Sachar. IDLDPL operate through both channel partners and retailers. The Kolkata
office will be operational in the month of October, though the location has not
been fixed yet.
