The Middle East, India and APac IT division of Wipro Ltd has affirmed its commitment to growing its business in the Middle East. It has been chosen as Doha Bank’s strategic IT partner for providing enterprise application integration and security consulting services, in the wake of recent deals signed in Saudi Arabia and the

UAE. 

These include end-to-end ERP solution deals at Saudi Polyolefins, Riyadh Pharma and Al Haya Medical Company, in addition to prestigious contracts with Dubai Municipality and Dubai Internet City for providing high-end IT operations management services.

Azim Premji, Chairman, Wipro, during his recent visit to the region, said, “The Middle East is a critical component of our global expansion strategy, as it is a rapidly growing IT services market. We are committed to building a strong business base here in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar as well as the rest of the Middle East. We will continue to provide value through our vast global experience, robust quality processes, in-depth understanding of various domains and our comprehensive range of high value IT services.”

Wipro is working closely with the ITS Group, headed by Sheikh Ghanim Bin Awaidah Al -Thani, as its local partner to address the IT needs of customers in Qatar.
