Necessarily an eastern player focussed on business only in the Orissa-West Bengal-Northeast Region, the company has performed exceedingly well especially in the office automation vertical with top brands including HP Computer peripherals, TVS-E printers, Tata Indicom, Panasonic and Kyosera accounting for the major share. In the calendar year 2009, Lalani Infotech posted a staggering growth of 64 percent for Q1-3 FY 09 beating industry expert's predictions for the year. Instead on focusing on diversification of portfolio and investing in new business ventures, the company consolidated its product line ensuring that the topline remains pertinent and worked on the bottomline in a unique way.

With major focus on HP, Dell and AOC besides its regular interest in Canon, the company has considerably concentrated on its own peripheral brand, Kanry expanding the product base to include speciality office products like document laminators, paper shredders and other automation products. Keen on holding on to this growth percentage, the company seems to have revived in the channel space and is now having an ambitious target of growing by 75 percent by the end of this FY. In this endeavour, the company is keen to focus on Zyxel and Dell this calendar year besides expanding its Kanry portfolio. Regionwise, the company is ambitious of growing by over 100 percent in the north-east bringing in more channel partners in its fold.
