Edgecore Networks collaborates with Aviz Networks to provide advanced SONiC solutions tailored for India’s expanding Data Centre and Edge Networks Market.

Edgecore and Aviz have established local entities in India, equipped with specialized research and support facilities, to fulfill customers’ needs for the Open-Source SONiC Network Operating System. SONiC empowers customers with full control over the NOS Layer, significant Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) savings, and freedom from vendor lock-in. As prominent members of the SONiC ecosystem governed by OCP and the Linux Foundation, Edgecore, and Aviz have collaborated worldwide, effectively implementing SONiC on Edgecore switches using the Aviz SONiC stack.

SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) is an open-source network operating system that enables users to operate network hardware based on open standards. Edgecore provides a wide range of open networking switches, from 1G to 800G.

These Edgecore switches, powered by SONiC, serve various purposes in Data Centers, Enterprises, Retail, Campus, and high-performance computing environments. Aviz Networks' ONES (Orchestration, Visibility, and Assurance) platform enhances businesses' visibility, control, and automation for their SONiC-based networks. Integrating Edgecore Platforms with the ONES platform allows customers to exercise even greater control over their networks at the fabric level.
