Emerson launches cooling solution for smaller server rooms

Emerson Network Power has launched an uninterruptible cooling solution
specially devised for server rooms in small- to mid-sized IT companies, the
UCS-24X7. The company claims that this product is ideally suited to ensure 24x7
cooling, is more energy-efficient and has a higher product lifecycle of 10 years
vis-à-vis a comfort cooling system. It also offers annual power saving costs up
to Rs 60,000 for an average server room load and guarantees a return on
investment in 18 months.

The UCS-24X7 offers a high sensible ratio of up to 92% and offers high energy
efficiency due to the use of compliant scroll compressors. It is capable of
filtering air up to 5 micron level with a filtration efficiency of 95 percent
protecting electronic equipment from dust bridging of components.
