Although wireless networking accounts for a minor percentage in the company's
total yearly turnover, yet, considerable progress in sales and customer
awareness has been made down South.

“We have been involved in network integration products in wireless for the
past three years expecting it to be one of the growth areas in the networking
space. However, from the SI perspective we have seen limited growth, especially
in the corporate sector where some components in the sector are based on
wireless products. The resulting situation is that wireless products accounts
for less than five percent of our total business,” he said.

As lack of proper awareness and ease of network intrusion continues to plague
the wireless scenario with enterprise as well as SMB refraining from major
ventures into the wireless space, the vendors have indeed taken little or no
initiation in educating customers about the benefits of wireless networking.
