Epson launches multi-function photoprinters

Epson has launched Stylus Photo RX610 and RX 690 inkjet photo multi-function
printers (MFP). At the core of these printers lie the twin drivers-the Micro
Piezo print head and advanced variable-sized droplet technology (VSDT), which
control both speed and quality in printing.

Epson's bundled PhotoEnhance software is designed to automatically correct
common digital photo flaws such as color balance. The Epson portrait enhances,
detects and improves face definition and skin radiance for natural looking
portraits. Stylus Photo RX690 powers can print, scan and copy tasks. The new MFP
also doubles up as a home office multi-function printer with its paper handling
capabilities. When double-sided printing matters, users also have the option of
an auto-duplexer. It comes with a tiltable LCD screen and is priced at Rs
14,500.

The Epson Stylus Photo RX610 offers a full card slot bay and PictBridge for
PC-less connections. Users also have the option of a Bluetooth adaptor for
wireless printing. The LCD screen and two sets of buttons give users access to a
range of navigation and print, scan and copy functions. It is priced at Rs
12,600.
