This recent addition is an integral component of Epson's photo initiative which promises simple, fast and high-quality digital imaging for everyone. Protected by a one-year limited warranty, the printer retails at Rs 19,795, exclusive of taxes.

The Stylus Photo RX510 can print ultra-sharp border-free photographs directly from memory cards (up to 1440 dpi) or through the PC at up to 5670x1440 optimized dpi resolution. It achieves a top speed of 16ppm in color and 17ppm for black text printing due to its 540 nozzles (90 per color) printhead. It takes 31 seconds to print a 4R(10 x 15 cm) photo.

An integrated, 48-bit, high definition MatrixCCD (alternative six lines color CCD with on-chip mircolens) scanner with a 2400dpi resolution converts conventional films and photographs into high-resolution color reproductions. Users can also make photocopies with multiple output options and make reprints by simply scanning in their image selection from an index sheet.
