Epson unveils XGA 3LCD projector

Epson launched the EMP-X3, a compact XGA 3LCD projector that
offers users brightness levels of up to 2,000 lumens at Rs 95,000, inclusive of
taxes. It is capable of a four-second startup and almost zero-second shutdown
with an 'Instant Off' feature. The projector allows users to power off and
pack up, almost instantly without the necessity for cool-down like traditional
projectors.

Epson's Epson-Twin Optimize Reflection Lamp
(E-TORL),
together with the 3LCD technology combines to project brighter, more vivid and
sharper images. The projector offers seven
preset color modes-photo,
presentation, theatre, sports, game, sRGB and blackboard, thereby allowing users
to obtain high picture quality when using for different applications. The new
built-in help program also provides a step-by-step guide through problems users
might face.

Similarly, the Source Search feature recognizes source inputs
and enhances operation ease, complementing the buttons found on the projector.
