ESM software from Soft-AID

Soft-AID Computers has launched Enterprise Security Management (ESM), a

software for addressing the physical security needs of an organization. The

software comprises of four modules, viz, visitors access control, materials

management, vehicle management and keys management.

Visitor access control has a pass creation subsystem and a unique feature of

tracking a visitor on the premise in real mode. It also offers the facility of

data analysis. Materials management module provides a system by which a user can

enter details about every material going out of the system in the computer.

Vehicle management deals with the control of movement of vehicles within the

organization. Keys management deals with the control of the number of keys in an

organization since they are very large. This system helps in attaching a barcode

strip to every key and the database for the same could be maintained.

The software comes with an option of either chosing Oracle or SQL as the

back-end server and has a web interface. Among other features ESM allows online

alert generation, data snuffer algorithms to control suspicious patterns and

remote accessibility.
