Exabyte appoints Renaissance Softech as storage solutions partner

Exabyte Corporation has appointed Renaissance Softech, a subsidiary of the Renaissance Group, as its solutions partner. It will offer the entire range of Exabyte’s storage solutions and SAN capabilities of tape library products, through its authorized chain of partners.

“We plan to grab 20% marketshare in the Indian storage market by 2008,“ says Jalin Anderson, MD and VP, APac - Sales,
Exabyte. 

Renaissance will also distribute the vendor's suite of fiber cable solutions for servers and workstations. This will be targeted at the enterprise and workgroup environments. The disty plans to educate solutions providers on the methodology to implement and maintain fiber-cabling solutions.
