How does DevOps help the growth of distant collaboration meetings?

DevOps lays down the process and tools required to automate software delivery and release fast, in a secure manner to ensure there are no dependencies and vulnerabilities detected before releasing updates. The significance of this in collaborative tools used to conduct remote meetings is greater now than ever before in India, given that practically the entire world has moved onto this platform to ensure business continuity. Given the number of security breaches and hacks we have experienced in this space, it’s important for companies in India to become more vigilant and update their software with security patches and other releases to protect their end users. DevOps also enables the release of new features added to these tools in a short period of time that came up due to the increasing demand and competition in the market.

My experience in the E-commerce industry in India has been around the use of technology to innovate and create new business opportunities for the organisation. Having a technical background with prior experience in the enterprise software industry, my learning and exposure to E-commerce helped me identify the right business opportunities that are relevant today in India. Similar agility and adaptability is required to run a DevOps business in India. My current role is not just limited to growing the market opportunity for JFrog but also involves working closely with our R&D and Support to understand the evolving needs of our users.
