Expression from Pinnacle Systems

Pinnacle Systems has announced the launch of Pinnacle Expression, a solution
for publishing digital pictures and videos directly to a CD or DVD. The new
software is targeted at still camera and digital camcorder owners, who want to
create videos or digital photo slideshows.

With Expression, videos can be directly imported from the camcorder using the
PC´s Firewire interface. The software comes with the functionality to
automatically create scene indices for easier searching. The software also
allows the user to add effects like fades, titles and music.

The software also comes with a built-in label creation utility for printing
stick-on disc labels. Priced at Rs 4,750, the software can be used with Windows
98 SE/Me/2000/XP.
