F-Secure Health Check for safe Internet use

F-Secure has introduced a new concept called 'Health Check', a free online
tool to help pinpoint security problems and gives clear advice on how to fix
them.

Venu Palakirti, Regional Director-Asia Pacific, India and SAARC, F-Secure
stated, "F-Secure Health Check checks the status of security solutions running
on the computer. More than one million people have already used the free tool
and our data shows that one-third of its users either haven't installed an
anti-virus, firewall, anti-spyware or they are outdated and turned off.
Out-of-date or non-existent security software leave users wide open to malicious
software and exploits."

In addition to making sure that your firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware
are working properly and are up-to-date, F-Secure Health Check also checks
whether the Windows operating system, third-party software, Mozilla Firefox and
Internet Explorer web browsers are in keeping with the time.

The new version of Health Check makes a thorough check of the software that
is most critical for a computer's security.
