According to a report,  Manoj Grover has claimed that  HP Inc has been involved in at least 3 instances of favourable treatment in government tenders on the basis of   some undue favours on part of the HP Inc.

The complaint laid by Grover says that HP Inc gained exclusive and special access to government tenders by means  of  bribes. He further laid the allegations that the topmost leadership in the HP Inc were in cognizance   of the happenings going on.

His allegations further said that both the Indian arm and the California headquarters of HP inc were  told about the matter. However, his job was terminated as the consequence of this.

Apparently, the allegations by Grover suggest that the bribes amounted to millions of dollars  to the government officials.

HP Inc however, has denied the allegations.

In a statement released by HPI, it was asserted that, "HP has a strict anti-retaliation policy, which includes a prohibition on retaliating against employees for reporting misconduct. HP requires its employees, partners and suppliers to adhere to the highest standards of integrity and ethical business conduct. We conduct reviews as needed and take appropriate actions to ensure compliance with our standards, but we don't comment on specific situations," HP India said in a statement."

"To resolve the Issues mutually is always the best. Who is right only time will tell. We at CMDA Delhi have been trying desperately to resolve certain fault lines with HP regarding their supplies business through mutual negotiations but sadly the present school of thought seems not to resolve.  The Hp supplies partners are treated shabbily now. The previous times were better with HP."
--Puneet Singhal, President, CMDA

The actual status of the matter remains to unfold as the case proceeds.

If this incident is proved to be true, then it points not only to the corporate practices of advancing themselves, but it also points to how the government employees have been conducting affairs at their end. It means that the ehtire system needs to be cleansed
