Fujitsu is offering customer-focused information technology and
communications solutions to help MNCs in India meet challenges with regard to
their potential customers. The company would closely work with independent
software vendors to generate business for them.

Venu Reddy, Senior Manager, Asia-Pacific software and services research of
IDC pointed out that one of the problems that the MNCs in India faced was that
companies changed their relationship with vendors every six months. This made it
difficult for them to come up with permanent solution for the company, he said.
Another problem area was the vendors' inability to meet the cost of sales.

He also pointed out that companies favored long-term transactions with regard
to IT solutions.

Quoting a survey, Fujitsu said MNCs preferred to outsource because vendors
were able to match well with the corporate thinking and understand the industry
and its industry-related solutions.
