Taiwan based Genius has strengthened its pan-India presence by appointing

Ingram Micro and Redington as their national distributors. Ingram Micro and

Redington, both, will distribute the entire range of Genius products including

digicams, handicams, webcams, mice, keyboards, headseats, speaker systems, home

theatres and MP3 players through their dealer and reseller network across the

country. With the appointment, Genius now has four national distributors, the

other two being Tirupati Enterprises and Transtek Infoways.

Speaking on the new tie up, Sandeep Ramani, Country Manager, KYE Systems

(India) said, "Ingram Micro and Redington are large distribution companies

with a vast dealer network across the country and having tied up with them, we

have fulfilled our first round of objective to have a complete national

presence. This tie up surely complements our other two distributors - Tirupati

and Transtek, because each distributor has a distinct advantage. We expect this

new relationship along with our old relationships will reflect positively on our

business turnout in the country with win-win situation for all of us."

K Jaishankar, MD- Ingram Micro India, said, "It is good to partner with

Genius which is focussed towards offering quality products at an affordable

price. We feel this partnership will help provide our customers with interesting

profit making options in the IT and lifestyle space "

Neogi, President - Redington India Limited added, "Genius is a reliable

and well-recognized brand in the PC Components arena. The range of products

available from Genius would help Redington augment the portfolio that it offers

to its valued channel partners."
