Gigabyte launches Easy Energy Saver technology

Gigabyte has launched Easy Energy Saver technology, delivering 'one-click' power savings for entry-level PC markets. Available on the GA-G31M-ES2L and GA-P31-ES3G motherboards, Easy Energy Saver extends Gigabyte's range of energy efficient computing solutions and delivers dollar energy savings for end-users and small businesses alike.

It adjusts CPU power depending on workload, delivering the right amount of power needed for the task. Coupled with Intel's 45nm CPU, Easy Energy Saver provides power savings and efficiency without sacrificing computing performance.
Not only can users see real-time CPU power consumption in watts, but also once Easy Energy Saver is enabled, users can see how much power they are actually saving.

Users can also enjoy energy savings in 'stealth mode', by turning off the Easy Energy Savings user interface.

Featuring the patented DualBIOS technology with two physical ROMs integrated onboard, the GA-G31M-ES2L and GA-P31-ES3G provide quick and seamless recovery from BIOS damage or failure due to viruses or improper BIOS updating.
