Indian market has excellent opportunity to set up facilities here

For this purpose, Gigabyte Technology (India) Ltd. is in the
process of acquiring 10 acres of land in Goa. Initially, Gigabyte India will
take up manufacturing of its products for domestic consumption and will further
expand to supplement its global operations. With steady capacity build up, this
plant may also take up contract manufacturing for other global brands.

Gigabyte entered India about four years ago with an exclusive
distribution tie-up with D-Link (India) for selling motherboards. In August
2005, this tie-up was converted into a joint venture - Gigabyte Technology
(India) Ltd. - with equity participation from both D-Link (India) Ltd. and
Gigabyte Technology Co.
