Goa gets its first Acer Mall

Mumbai : Acer entered
the branded retail market in Goa with the opening of its first exclusive brand
store, the 'Acer Mall'. Acer would be partnering Ways Infotech in its maiden
venture into the retail market in Goa. Ways Infotech, would showcase the entire
range of Acer desktops, notebooks and display products, which would include the
Aspire series of consumer PCs, the TravelMate and Aspire notebook and netbook
series and also the Acer range of monitors and projectors. The opening of the
first Acer Mall in Goa saw the active participation of Jose Philip D'souza,
Minister for Revenue and Civil Supplies, who was the chief guest for the
occasion.

Commenting on the
inauguration, WS Mukund, MD, Acer India said, "It is our goal to offer our
consumers, innovative products at prices which offer the best value for money.
We are extremely pleased that Ways Infotech is partnering with us in our
endeavor to reach out to consumers in the state. We have a good channel outreach
in Goa and with the opening of the Acer Mall, we hope to see big jump in our
retail business. Acer is very eager to be present in Goa and grow the market for
IT products in the state."

market. We see a potential to do close to 200 units (notebooks, netbooks,
desktops, TFTs and projectors combined) of pure retail business per month
straight away from this store. The opening of our first brand retail further
re-emphasizes our commitment to offering our consumers in Goa a wide assortment

The Acer mall is situated on
the Ground floor of Alfred Plaza, next to Don Bosco High School on MG Road in
Panaji.
