Team Computers is among those few companies that posted a healthy growth in the wake of the slowdown. It grew its revenue to Rs 50 crore in 2001-02 from Rs 40 crore in 2000-01. Standing at #42, it is one of the nine new entrants in the Next 25 Group.
This 25 percent growth largely came because the company worked with an objective to deliver solutions to its customers. It also entered into newer domains with tie-ups with Audio Codes for its VoIP solutions and HECL for its Ku-band VSAT solutions.Â
Team Computers also kept up the momentum on re-skilling employees to be able to best address the needs of the customer.
"Employee skill enhancement played an important role in our growth," says Ranjan Chopra, CEO.Â
Team Computers is looking at achieving Rs 65 crore this year. And to get to that number, it added seven new branches last year taking the total number to 12.Â
Also Team launched a subsidiary, High Voltage Power Solutions, for providing power solutions.
