HCL launches version 6 of Dragon Naturally Speaking

HCL Infosystems has launched Dragon Naturally Speaking Version 6, a speech recognition software. With the Dragon
software users can now create documents, navigate all Microsoft Windows-based programs and surf the Web
all by voice. It offers a vast vocabulary and a number of advanced features that allow users to automate processes and functions for fast,
hands-free document creation and computer navigation.

The software is available in three levels of features and functionality - Preferred, Professional and Nat Mobile to provide users
with the most personalized solution to meet their specific needs and supports Indian
English accents.  

Dragon NaturallySpeaking includes a standard vocabulary of more than 250,000 terms and can filter out the 'um's' and
'aah's' that occur in users' speech processes. By voice-enabling Windows-based applications, the
software provides the ability to speech-enable the widest variety of functions of any speech recognition solution to a diverse group of
consumers. 

Vivek Seigell, Head - Asia Pacific, Software Solutions Group of HCL Infosystems Limited says, "The Dragon software is

The Dragon Preferred is priced at Rs 20,000, Professional at Rs 45,000 and Nat Mobile costs Rs 26,000.
