HDS appoints national channels director

Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, has
announced the appointment of Srikant Chakrapani as National Channels Director,
India. With the current position, he would be responsible for development of
channels business in India and increase market share through reach and
penetration. He will be based in Mumbai.

Prior to this, Srikant looked after business operations in North India. It
included sales and technical pre-sales for HDS. He has been with the company
since July 2002.
