HP held its first OpenView Channel Partner Summit 2003, in Jodhpur. This event was to reward its top channel partners in India, for their sales, marketing, and technical performance.
Wipro InfoTech received the OpenView Sales Champion award for highest sales quota achievement, while the OpenView Technical Champion award for highest quality project implementations, highest technical certifications and value-added services customers was presented to Network Solutions. The OpenView Best Growth Company award for high rates of sales growth, high rates of technical resource base and increased value-addition for customers went to HCL Comnet.
Wipro Technologies received the OpenView Service Provider Champion award for innovative management service provider offerings, high achievement of sales quota and high technical resource investment.
Individual sales and technical champion awards went to sales representatives of Wipro Infotech and technical consultant from HCL Comnet, respectively.
The two-day summit was attended by Steve Au Yeung, VP, Software Global Business Unit (SGBU), HP-Apac, VP, Yen-Yen Tan, Director, SGBU SEA/India and HP SGBU Asia Pacific Channel and Alliances Manager, Cindy Wong. It also covered business sessions, technology update sessions.
