Follow UsAt the glittering DQ Channels Choice Awards function at New Delhi, HP wore the crown of the Channel Champion with aplomb, while IBM walked away with
the silver Channel Champion award. HP has been winning this award for the fourth year in a row.
For the first time, DQ Channels gave away awards to vendors across various product categories. And HP stole the thunder here again, by walking away
with six awards for products including secondary storage, laser printers/MFDs, inkjet printers/MFDs, x86 servers, desktops and notebooks.
The other winners were APC for UPS, Kodak for digital cameras, D-Link for networking products and Epson for
DMPs.
Among the other categories, HP again commanded over five awards; HCL was the latest entrant in this elite awards section and won the Gold award for
Best After-sales Support and the Silver award for the Best Commercial Terms.
The awards ceremony was preceded by a panel discussion on 'Taking the Quantum Leap In Solutions Providing' and the panelists touched upon
various aspects like risk taking and making a shift from an entrepreneur to a businessman. over 250 partners attended the event, which was
co-sponsored by WeP Peripherals and Juniper Networks.
