HP strengthens global alliance with Wipro

HP has announced further strengthening of its global alliance with Wipro by
extending system integration partnership to HP's entire portfolio of HP OpenView
suite of software. Under this alliance, HP and Wipro will together maximize
opportunities in the market to deliver remote management services, system
integration and ITIL consulting, using HP OpenView management software for the
global customers.

"Wipro was the first Indian company to have a global tie up with HP
software and we have been successfully developing and deploying management
solutions addressed at telecom service providers. Going ahead, Wipro will be the
key implementation partner for HP's entire portfolio of OpenView suite of
software," said HP Software Worldwide Strategy and Planning VP, Sandeep
Johri. "This alliance will help bring businesses one step closer to
becoming Adaptive Enterprises by synchronizing business with IT to help
capitalize on change," he added.

HP also introduced two software products that help enterprises extend control
over their business operations and information technology in India. Combined
with HP professional services, the new OpenView management solutions help
customers both comply with government regulations and manage the delivery of IT
services using service-oriented architectures (SOAs), which use industry
standards and specific design and architectural principles to provide
application services.

HP OpenView Compliance Manager software automates and continuously monitors
internal controls and manages business processes while efficiently adhering to

compliance regulations. HP OpenView SOA Manager software provides the controls
enterprises need to successfully deliver IT as a service using service-oriented
architectures. HP Consulting and Integration services experts will leverage HP
OpenView SOA Manager to ensure successful development, deployment and management
of SOAs for customers.
