HP India has been awarded Franchise India's 'Certificate of Excellence' for its Digital Studio initiative in the country. The award was presented at Franchise India 2003, the first international franchise conference held in New Delhi recently.
The Franchise Awards are given in acknowledgment of the best practices in the realm of franchising, cutting across industry and trade segments and spanning the entire gamut of service companies across the country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Gaurav Maurya, President, Franchising Holdings India says, "This mega event is an effort to acknowledge the significant effort made by companies for promoting franchising in the country."
Accepting the award, Ashwini K Aggarwal, Country Marketing Manager, HP India attributes the win to the company's processes and vision, and to the efforts of the 1,825 franchisees "who have made HP's vision a reality over the last one-and-half year."
According to the release, HP's Digital Studios is the largest instant digital photo franchise network in the country, with over 1,825 franchisees across 37 cities. Digital Studios currently reach out to over two million customers a quarter, and the company plans to increase this to over one million customers per month in the next quarter.
