HPE announces Partner Ready Vantage Program

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has unveiled enhancements to the HPE Partner Ready Vantage program crafted to empower partners in delivering as-a-service solutions effectively. These updates comprise extensive Centers of Expertise, fresh competencies, a refined competency framework, as well as tools and offerings that enhance repeatable profitability and nurture enduring customer relationships for partners.

New Partner Tools and Offerings 

Based on the HPE Partner Ready program, HPE Partner Ready Vantage is structured around three tracks: Build, Sell, and Service. It incorporates specialized Centers of Expertise where partners can enroll and enhance their expertise further.

Constructed upon the HPE Partner Ready program framework, HPE Partner Ready Vantage consists of three distinct tracks – Build, Sell, and Service. Additionally, it offers specialized Centers of Expertise where partners can enroll to enhance and refine their expertise further.

The Build track allows partners to craft, integrate, and design workloads and solutions using HPE GreenLake. It includes the Solution & Development and Technology Validation Centers of Expertise. The Sell track offers partners avenues to boost recurring revenue, featuring the As-a-Service Center of Expertise. The Service track empowers partners to enrich customer experiences by expanding their services and includes the Customer Success, Managed Services, and Professional Services Centers of Expertise.

In addition to the current offers available in the various Centers of Expertise, the following tools and offerings are now available to partners enrolled in HPE Partner Ready Vantage:

The rapid migration tool seamlessly incorporates HPE's top-tier consulting expertise, automation, and tools, facilitating comprehensive application migration to the hybrid cloud. Partners can now provide impartial assessments and recommendations for workload placement to their customers. Presently, the tool supports VMware migrations, with plans for additional capabilities in the future. It is accessible to partners enrolled in the Professional Services Center of Expertise.

Partners can now take the lead in their customers' HPE GreenLake journey through the partner-led services experience. This empowers partners to add their services and tailor HPE GreenLake solutions according to their customers' needs. Access to this enhanced experience is granted to partners enrolled in the Managed Services Center of Expertise.

HPE Aruba Networking partners now have access to enhanced consulting services aimed at building their practices. This includes business planning and service discovery workshops tailored for Solution Providers and Managed Service Providers. Partners can also benefit from guided sessions on developing Network as a Service (NaaS) or HPE Aruba Networking as-a-service business plans, along with a newly introduced practice accelerator tool. These valuable services are available exclusively to partners enrolled in the Customer Success or Managed Services Center of Expertise.

HPE Aruba Networking partners can access a range of selling resources and training initiatives. This includes a newly introduced outcome-based selling webinar series, updated training modules, and a refreshed playbook focused on as-a-service models. Additionally, there's a customer success partner lifecycle campaign tailored to support partners from their initial onboarding phase to accreditation. These valuable resources are exclusively available to partners enrolled in the As-a-Service Center of Expertise. 

Evolved Competency Framework 

HPE competencies have evolved to include a curated set of learning activities enabling partners to promote their solutions and create better visibility of their offerings. The new framework has an increased focus on partner understanding of HPE technology and how to apply it to a variety of customer challenges. Partner competency will now be end-to-end including technical, sales, solutions, and industry expertise, providing a choice to partners to develop their path based on their specific business model.

Today, HPE has several competencies available for partners to participate in, which are aligned with HPE’s strategy for Edge, Hybrid Cloud, and AI. These competencies are also available to HPE Partner Ready and HPE Partner Ready for Networking partners with additional competencies being announced in 2024.

Initially introduced at HPE Discover 2022, the program focuses on addressing customer requirements and fostering the growth of as-a-service partnerships within HPE's Hybrid Cloud and HPE Aruba Networking portfolio. Since its announcement, HPE has received highly favorable responses from partners of all scales who have enrolled in the program.
