iBall unveils laptop with TV

iBall introduced a notebook, 'The First Emperor'. The in-built TV tuner allows the user to view more than 300 TV channels and also offers to capture the same with MPEG II quality.

The 256MB ATI Radeon coupled with WSXGA plus LCD panel are for DVD/ CD viewing as well as for gamers. Its standard configuration includes - 1 GB RAM, 80 GB hard disk drive, DVD writer
(DVD writer as well as CD writer), 802.11b/g wireless LAN and integrated
Bluetooth. It also has full-featured sloped keyboard and standard Fire wire and 3 USB 2.0 ports.

The WSXGA plus wide screen LCD panel is considered the best option on Laptop
LCDs. It gives the highest resolution of 1680x1050, thereby making the screen absolutely amazing with sharp, clear and photo-like screen images for all types of graphic users, CAD users, gamers and business executives alike. 

For productivity applications like Excel and Word, the higher resolution allows more viewable content so that the user does not have to scroll much to view the entire spreadsheet/document and book format word viewing. Its advanced features come at a price of Rs 79,950 plus taxes for the user. iBall recently launched a series of notebooks with
upgradeability, extended battery life with proprietary Smart Power II Technology, instant-on entertainment
centre, up-to 2 GB of RAM and host of other features.
