IBM India has introduced new models of ThinkPad computers–the T30, A31p and
R32. These are a range of mobile notebooks, powered by the Mobile Intel Pentium
4 Processor.
The newly-launched ThinkPad notebooks offer customers advanced security in
form of security chips, a data recovery and management system, advanced system
migration tools and support for advanced wireless.
Intel mobile processors are specifically designed for notebooks and include
mobile specific low power and performance technologies that are not designed
into desktop parts including: Voltage Reduction technology, Intel QuickStart
technology, Deep and Deeper Sleep Alert State and support for Enhanced Intel
SpeedStep technology as well as smaller thinner packaging. The processor also
has a new mobile chipset, the Intel 845MP.
