IBM unveils ThinkVision monitors

IBM
has unveiled first in a new line of ThinkVision monitors - the L200p. L200p is a
high-end flat panel LCD monitor and can be used for a variety of graphic and
financial applications such as CAD/CAM, scientific imaging, desktop publishing
and complex spreadsheets.

This 20.1 inch LCD monitor features an optimum resolution of 1600 X 1200 (UXGA).
The L200p offers 250 cd/m2 brightness, 400:1 contrast ratio and 170 degree
horizontal and vertical viewing angle. Using dual input, the monitor can be
attached to two systems simultaneously, and it offers both analog and digital
system attachment. Cables for both analog and digital cables are provided with
the monitor.

The monitor also features an ergonomic, cantilever stand to make the display
float towards the users. The stand keeps the base stationary while allowing the
monitor to swivel 135 degrees in either direction.

L200p also provides direct access buttons for brightness, automatic image
setup and input selection. The monitor is priced at Rs 2,20,000 (exclusive of
taxes).
