Unlicensed versions of SAP Software were seized following a raid on Kolkata-based
Integrated Business Solution (IBS). The police also seized the computers and
servers, which had pirated copies of SAP software. IBS was also 'conducting
unauthorized SAP training.'
The Delhi High Court had ordered the raid “following a civil suit for
Infringement of Copyright filed by SAP India.

“SAP is extremely determined to crack down on institutes offering
unauthorized training on SAP software. The civil action instituted against IBS
is one of the many actions that SAP has instituted against unauthorized training
Institutes, across the country. We are looking at further intensifying our
campaign by working closely with the authorities against these unauthorized
training institutes, said Alan Sedghi, President and CEO, SAP Indian
Subcontinent.
Indian Satellite Research and Development Organization (ISRDO) in New Delhi,
Growel Softech located in Noida, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Mumbai,
SAPzen Consulting India located in Bangalore and Mumbai, and the Bangalore
offices of NeoLogik and United Systems India were also raided earlier.
SAP has setup a community of Education Partners across India to offer
training on its technologies.
