“The major objective of the collaboration is to educate citizens, industries, communities and institutions about the environmental benefits and monetary savings by adapting to smart solar solutions. The campaign team will use an innovative mobile App “PuRE Solar” to accomplish this mission. The Mobile App is poised to quickly determine the potential savings that one can make when they go solar, including a project report comprising of accurate system sizing, space requirement, and monthly energy generation and indeed carbon savings. The tool is first of its kind in India as it has dynamic GPS tracking and irradiation/weather data linked to that specific location through IMD.” said Prof Nishanth Dongari of IIT Hyderabad and founder of “PuREnergy”.

“TITA firmly believes that there is an urgent need of unique and innovative solutions like what PuREnergy is providing through IIT Hyderabad. TITA will conduct solar literacy sessions by partnering with NGOs, Government Departments and Residential Associations. We will also carry out skill development and career orientation activities on Solar Energy through our ‘Telangana Yuva Nirmaan’ programme across universities and engineering colleges.” said Sundeep Kumar Makthala, Founder President of TITA.

On occasion of the MOU signing, TITA Global Vice President Ranapratap Bojjam, TITA Advisor LK Sangameshwar Rao, TITA General Secretary Ashwin Chandra Vallaboju were present.
