While installing online payment gateways, the IT MSMEs have to be extra careful.
RazorPay has launched a campaign #YouAreAweSME, which seeks to crowd-source netizens’ favourite MSMEs creating wonders both online and offline and gift them a celebration pack along with free Razorpay payment solutions for a limited period.
In the past 15 months, Razorpay claims to onboard over 1.5 million SMEs in the past 15 months. The platform saw a growth of over 200% from March’20 - May '21 in transaction volume done by MSMEs. Notably, 54% of online transactions happened through MSMEs from tier-2 and 3 towns. With #YouAreAweSME, Razorpay hopes to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of MSMEs.
The company has asked the visitors to visit the campaign page and share your support for your favourite MSME.
DQ Channels has earlier brought it to light that in the light of Corona related lockdown and increasing advance of online business models, the offline IT MSMEs have facing hardships. In absence of a strong online presence they have been losing business. The only way out for them seems to be to build a strong online presence. This not only involves making online profiles, posting regularly on blogs, posting on social media, but also having an easy online payment gateways which works without any hassles and allows multiple modes of payments and international money transfers.
Before installing payment gateways the MSMEs are advised to check if it allows multiple modes of payment such as Google Pay, Credit and debit cards and NEFT. Further, it should allow multiple currencies of the world, at least INR, USD, GBP, EU and several other currencies. Intenrational payment should be fast and without any hassles. There should not be a history of the payment gateway going down for long period of maintenance.
Many customers who use Razorpay have complained that it goes down for long periods. Hence, any IT MSME who wants to install any payment gateway should satisfy themselves that this gateway works properly for them.
