Computerskill Ltd is launching double protection Sprint CD

Computerskill Ltd is launching double protection Sprint CD-Rs, making it the second company in the country to do so. According to Anil Potphode, GM-Sales at Computerskill, Sprint will be the second brand in India to have double protection CD-R after Moser Baer.

This new type of Sprint CR-R will be first launched at Indore. After Indore, Computerskill will launch its new product across country in a phase wise manner. Targeted at students and SOHO users, the company is planning promotional schemes to spread user awareness about the double protection CD-Rs. Anil said, “We are also working on some schemes for the channels as well, which will get finalized soon.”

When asked about the old stock of the single protection CD-Rs, which is available with several Sprint dealers, Anil claimed, “We will ensure that dealers are given enough time to move their old stocks. Ultimately our goal is to replace the existing single protection CD-Rs with the double protection ones, which are in greater demand now.” The new Sprint CD-R will be available at an MRP of Rs 230 for the pack of 10.

Along with this launch, Computerskill is also concentrating on increasing its geographical reach. Anil said, “At present we have a dealer network across West and North. We are planning to increase our reach to East and South by January 2006.” He also mentioned that with the expansion, the company would also enhance its manufacturing capacities three-fold.
