Ingram Micro Inc. announced the appointment of Diego Utge as Senior Vice President & Chief Country Executive for India. In his new role, Utge takes on the leadership responsibility for Ingram Micro’s India strategy, operations and business execution. He will be reporting to Mike Zilis, EVP & Group President, Asia Pacific.

Diego, former Chief Country Executive of Ingram Micro Brazil, is a seasoned leader. He has been instrumental in transforming Ingram Micro’s Brazil operations from loss-making business, to become the largest technology distributor, with consistently profitable operations. He comes with a career of more than 16 years in the company, having led organizations and different businesses in very diversified environments.  “I am very excited to join to lead our India organization. It will be great to continue the great work that is being done by an extremely seasoned team built by Jaishankar Krishnan. We will accelerate our investments in the country, to continue bringing to the market innovative solutions that will help our ecosystem of partners to commercialize more complex solutions and capitalize on the great momentum and transformation the Republic of India is undergoing”, said Diego.
